Southampton beat Leeds at Wembley to return to the Premier League
Leeds lost to Southampton in the Championship play-off final at Wembley and will spend at least another year in England's second division.
The Saints' historic success in the final match of the season was achieved by the only goal scored in the middle of the first half. In the 24th minute, Adam Armstrong avoided offside, ran away from three Leeds defenders into the penalty area and scored a decisive goal.
