Lazio have officially announced Marco Baroni as their new coach.

Previous head coach Maurizio Sarri had resigned from Lazio in March and his replacement Igor Tudor followed a few days ago due to profound disagreements with the club hierarchy over their transfer strategy.

Baroni's previous coaching roles include Pescara, Novara, Benevento, Frosinone, Cremonese, Reggina, Lecce and Verona.

Lazio ultras are planning a protest this Sunday against the appointment of the new coach.
