Spain became the first semi-finalist of Euro-2024

Spain became the first semi-finalist of Euro-2024 after defeating Germany.

Dani Olmo was the one to put the Spaniards ahead at the start of the second half, while Germany answered their opponents with a late strike by Florian Wirtz. The game continued in the extra-time, where Merino became the hero of Spain by scoring a header at the 119th minute - 2:1.

This was the last game for Germany's Tony Kroos who previously announced the end of his career.
