UPL announced the results of the meeting of the Ukrainian Premier League clubs

UPL announced the results of the meeting of the Ukrainian Premier League clubs, which discussed the replacement of Dnipro-1 in the 2024/25 season.

Representatives of UPL clubs decided to satisfy the request of SC Dnipro-1 to exclude the club from the competition. After that, according to the results of the voting, two proposals were determined for the consideration and approval of the Executive Committee of the UAF in accordance with Article 5 of the Regulations for the replacement of SC Dnipro-1.

The first one with the most votes is to give a place in the UPL to FC Minaj. The second is to hold a transitional tournament with the participation of four teams (Minaj, Metalist 1925, Left Bank and Epicenter), the winner of which will play in the UPL in the 2024/25 season.

The final decision on this issue must be approved by the UAF Executive Committee.
