There was no intrigue in the central match of the Champions League match day

Arsenal defeated PSG and got their first victory in the new European season.

The English side overran PSG's strengths in the first half and made excellent use of their chances. Kai Havertz opened the scoring when he ran onto a cross into the goalkeeper's box and headed the ball into the net. Fifteen minutes later, Saka doubled the lead - Bukayo crossed from the free kick into the penalty area, but it turned to be a direct shot after which the ball flew past all the players and ended up in the net.

After the break, the Parisians started to play more actively, but Arsenal did not lose control of the game for a second, eventually bringing the game to victory - 2:0.

We would like to remind you that the next opponent of Mikel Arteta's team in the Champions League will be Shakhtar Donetsk. The game between the Gunners and the Miners will take place on October 22 in London.
