Dortmund are also missing key players

Borussia Dortmund are grappling with a series of squad issues following the international break.

Niklas Süle has fallen ill and has not been able to train with the team, leaving the defender sidelined for now.

While there is hope that Süle may recover in time for Dortmund's Champions League match against Real Madrid next week, another setback comes with the news that Yan Couto will certainly be unavailable. The Brazilian defender is expected to remain out for at least another two weeks.

Dortmund are also missing key players such as Karim Adeyemi, Julien Duranville, and Giovanni Reyna.

The German side will face Real Madrid in the Spanish capital on October 22, but before that, they take on St. Pauli in the Bundesliga on October 18.
