Kylian Mbappé

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has given an update on the fitness and form of Kylian Mbappé ahead of their upcoming clash against Celta Vigo.

La Liga 2024-25: Fixtures, Results & Standings

The French forward missed recent international duty with France in the Nations League, choosing to spend the break recovering from an injury. Additionally, Mbappé has been the subject of off-field controversies in the past week, but Ancelotti opted to steer clear of discussing those headlines.

“Mbappé used the break to work on his physical condition. He’s feeling great, he’s happy, and he’s eager to get back on the pitch and play a key role for the team,” Ancelotti told Football Espana.

“These 15 days have been really beneficial for him. He’s had the time to fully recover from his injuries. Kylian is now a different player than before the break—this time off has done wonders for him, and he looks sharper than ever,” the Real Madrid boss added.

With Real Madrid’s strong start to the season, all eyes will be on Mbappé as he returns to the lineup, hoping to make an immediate impact.
