Villarreal snatched victory from Valladolid and moved up to third place in La Liga

Valladolid - Villarreal 1:2

One of the leaders of La Liga, Villarreal, in the 11th round of the championship visited Valladolid.

The guests made three times more strikes - 21:7 and deservedly won - 2:1, but this victory wasn't easy.

The score was opened in the 29th minute. Barry headed the ball into the net after a cross, but in the 59th minute referee awarded a penalty to Valladolid - Silla Diallo sent the ball into the bottom corner and levelled the score.

The victory for Valladolid was achieved thanks to Perez, who in the 84th minute closed the pass of Baena.

Villarreal gained 21 points and surpassed Atletico, moving to third place in the La Liga table.
