Barcelona has confirmed that two of their star players, Robert Lewandowski and Lamine Yamal, will be sidelined following injuries sustained during recent matches.

Lamine Yamal, the 17-year-old sensation, has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 sprain in his right ankle. He is expected to be out for 2-3 weeks. Meanwhile, Robert Lewandowski suffered a back injury during Barcelona’s clash with Real Sociedad and is projected to miss around 10 days of action.

2024-25 La Liga Standings

Both players have been instrumental for Barcelona under the management of Hansi Flick, who took charge of the club earlier this year. Alongside Raphinha, they have formed one of the most potent attacking units in Europe. Yamal has been remarkable this season, scoring six goals in 15 appearances, while Lewandowski remains La Liga's top scorer with 17 goals across all competitions.

With a congested schedule ahead, the absence of these two key players poses a significant challenge for Barcelona as they aim to maintain their momentum in both domestic and European competitions.
