FIFA Unveils New Club World Cup Trophy
FIFA has officially revealed the new trophy for the revamped FIFA Club World Cup, set to debut in 2025. The elegant design will be awarded for the first time to the champions of next year’s tournament.
The redesigned Club World Cup will take place from June 15 to July 13, 2025, across 12 stadiums in 11 cities in the United States. The grand final will be held at the iconic MetLife Stadium in New York. FIFA collaborated with a leading global jewelry manufacturer to craft the trophy, blending innovation and tradition.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino commented:
"Innovative, inclusive, groundbreaking, and truly global, the new FIFA Club World Cup featuring 32 teams deserves a trophy that represents all of these values. It is prestigious and timeless—a golden symbol of the future, inspired by the past."
A Trophy Rich in Symbolism
The Club World Cup trophy, coated in 24-karat gold, is a striking work of art. It features engravings and images that celebrate football’s storied legacy, including a world map and the names of all 211 FIFA member associations and six confederations. This design emphasizes the geographic and cultural diversity that defines the global game.
The Road Ahead
With the expanded tournament format and the new trophy, FIFA aims to elevate the prestige of the Club World Cup, promising a landmark event for players, fans, and clubs alike.
