UEFA Nations League 2024-25

Renowned football database Transfermarkt has updated the market values of national teams participating in the UEFA Nations League 2024-25, with some eye-catching figures highlighting the financial disparity across divisions.

League A: France Leads the Pack

At the top of League A, France reigns supreme as the only squad with a collective value exceeding €1 billion, standing at an impressive €1.01 billion. Trailing behind but still commanding significant sums are Portugal (€792 million), Germany (€782 million), and Netherlands (€768 million), underscoring their world-class talent.

League B: England in a League of Their Own

Among League B teams, England (€996 million) dominates with a staggering valuation that nearly doubles its nearest competitors. Norway, Turkey, and Ukraine each boast squads valued at over €300 million. Interestingly, the first three are group leaders, while Ukraine is fighting to avoid relegation from League B, adding drama to their campaign.

League C: Sweden the Standout

In League C, only three teams surpass the €100 million mark. Sweden (€350 million) leads comfortably, followed by Slovakia (€147 million) and Romania (€103 million). Below them, the gap widens dramatically, reflecting the tiered nature of European football.

League D: A Different World

The valuations in League D are on an entirely different scale. Moldova (€14.2 million) and Malta (€13.7 million) are the highest-valued squads, a far cry from their League A counterparts. Meanwhile, San Marino remains the least valuable team in Europe, with a squad averaging just €46,000 per player.
