Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich have confirmed that João Palhinha will be out of action until the end of the month after sustaining an adductor muscle injury during training with the Portuguese national team.

Official Update from Bayern

The club's medical team announced that the 29-year-old midfielder has already begun his recovery process but is expected to miss several weeks. This means Palhinha will be unavailable for key Bundesliga clashes against Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen, as well as the pivotal Champions League fixture against Paris Saint-Germain.

Significant Blow to Bayern’s Campaign

Palhinha's absence comes at a critical time for Vincent Kompany's side. Bayern currently sit atop the Bundesliga table and are on course to secure a spot in the Champions League knockout stages. While the Portuguese international has yet to contribute directly in terms of goals or assists this season, his defensive work and ability to break up opposition attacks have been pivotal in anchoring Bayern’s midfield.
