In 2024/25, the spotlight firmly returned to Kane

Harry Kane has capped off a stellar campaign with Bayern Munich by being officially named the Bundesliga Player of the Season for 2024/25 — a fitting reward for a year of goal-scoring brilliance and leadership.

The England captain scored an impressive 26 goals in the league, becoming the first player in Bundesliga history to finish as top scorer in each of his first two seasons in the competition. In addition to his prolific goal tally, Kane also registered eight assists.

Only Mohamed Salah of Liverpool was involved in more goals (46) across Europe’s top five leagues this season, further highlighting Kane’s impact at both club and continental level.

Last season, Kane narrowly missed out on the award as Florian Wirtz earned the honor after leading Bayer Leverkusen to the Bundesliga title. But in 2024/25, the spotlight firmly returned to Kane — not just for his goals, but for his consistency, vision, and relentless drive at the heart of Bayern’s attack.
