Inter Milan defeat RB Leipzig

Inter Milan defeated RB Leipzig and moved into a first place in the Champions League standings.

The game between the Italian champions and one of the top clubs in the Bundesliga was not competitive - Inzaghi's team seized the initiative from the very first minutes and did let the visitors create anything for until the final whistle. At the same time, the Nerazzurri wasted a lot of chances themselves, eventually settling for only a minimal victory.

The decisive goal in the match was scored after 27 minutes. Dimarco crossed into the penalty area, the ball flew over all Milan players and deflected off the Lukeba into the net.

It should be noted that in the very end of the game Inter once again hit the Leipzig goal through Mkhitaryan's efforts, but this goal was cancelled by the referee due to a foul. 1:0 - Inter overtakes Liverpool at the top of the Champions League, while Leipzig remains at the bottom of the table with zero points.
