Atletico M - Sevilla 4:3

The highlight of the La Liga 16th round was the match between Atletico and Sevilla. It had everything - seven goals and a dramatic ending.

In the opening minutes, Antoine Griezmann could have scored twice, but first hit the crossbar and then failed to beat the visitors' goalkeeper.

Still, Atletico's initial onslaught brought results. Rodrigo de Paul put the ball into the back of the net from the penalty spot.

And then it was Sevilla's time. In the 13th minute, after a pass from Gudel, Dodi Lukebakio sent the ball into the bottom corner.

After 20 minutes, Isaac Romero converted a one-on-one with the goalkeeper to put the visitors ahead. And after 57 minutes Juanlu Sanchez hit the back of the net after a pass from Kike Salas.

Next came Atletico's fantastic comeback. From Pablo Barrios' pass, Antoine Griezmann sent the ball into the bottom corner of the goal. In the 79th minute, Samuel Lino restored the balance in the score - Antoine Griezmann scored the winner for the hosts in the fourth added minute. The ball after his shot ricocheted off the crossbar and flew into the goal.

4:3 - victory for Atletico, who are now just three points behind leaders Barcelona, sitting in third place in the La Liga standings.
