Real Madrid added another trophy to their remarkable 2024 haul, defeating Mexico’s Pachuca 3-0 in the Intercontinental Cup final. This victory marks Los Blancos' fifth piece of silverware this year, further solidifying their status as one of the world's premier football clubs.

The breakthrough came late in the first half when Kylian Mbappe, continuing his scintillating form, opened the scoring in the 37th minute. In the second half, Rodrygo doubled Real Madrid’s lead in the 53rd minute, effectively securing the outcome. Vinicius Junior put the result beyond doubt with an 84th-minute penalty.
