David Alaba is Back

In yesterday's match between Real Madrid and Las Palmas, a significant event took place for the Madrid team. After 399 days of absence, central defender David Alaba returned to the field. The Austrian was able to play following his recovery from an anterior cruciate ligament injury. For now, he is not being overburdened—Alaba came on in the 76th minute, replacing Antonio Rüdiger.

After the match, he shared his thoughts on his return:
"I am very happy. This is a special day for me. I want to thank the fans. I have been waiting for this moment for a long time because the past year was very tough and long. I worked very hard every day, anticipating this moment. Coming back home felt amazing. The team supported me a lot, and without my teammates, the medical staff, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation specialists, it would have been much harder. They helped me tremendously, working tirelessly every day."
