120-Kilogram Chinese Fighter Wants to Face Oleksandr Usyk
There is no official information about Oleksandr Usyk's plans following a potential victory over Tyson Fury, but contenders for his next fight are already emerging. One such contender is the well-known Chinese fighter Zhang Zhilei, who has expressed his intention to face the victorious Ukrainian. This statement was made through his trainer, Shaun George, who responded to accusations that his protégé was avoiding fights by saying:
"Zhilei is not avoiding anyone. He will fight anyone, anywhere, when the opportunity arises. We want to face Oleksandr Usyk before the end of 2025."
The next opponent for the Chinese fighter, whose fighting weight is approximately 120 kilograms, is expected to be the German boxer Agit Kabayel. They are set to compete for the interim WBC title in February. Kabayel, now 41 years old, was the interim WBO world champion in 2023 and is ranked in the top 10 heavyweight boxers worldwide across all major organizations.
