Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk has officially ended her journey at the Australian Open. A few days ago, she exited the singles competition, and now she has also been eliminated from the doubles tournament. Marta's partner was Romanian player Elena-Gabriela Ruse.

In the quarterfinals, they faced Taiwanese player Hsieh Su-wei and Latvian player Alona Ostapenko. The Ukrainian-Romanian duo lost the first set decisively, 2-6. In the second set, Kostyuk and Ruse managed to turn the tide, securing a hard-fought victory at 7-5. However, they were unable to replicate this success in the decisive third set, losing by the same scoreline.

As a result, the Grand Slam tournament now has only one remaining representative from Ukraine — Elina Svitolina. Tomorrow, she will compete in the singles quarterfinals against American player Madison Keys.
