UEFA Nations League

The Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) has confirmed the venue for the second leg of the 2024/2025 UEFA Nations League playoff against Ukraine. The decisive match, which will determine promotion to League A, will take place on March 23rd at the Crystal Arena in Limburg.

The Crystal Arena, home to Belgian club KRC Genk, was built in 1999 and has a capacity of 25,000 spectators. The Belgian national team has played two matches at this stadium: a 2-0 friendly victory over Slovenia on February 11, 2009, and a 2-4 defeat to Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifiers on March 28, 2009.

Meanwhile, the first leg of the playoff, nominally a home game for Ukraine, will be held on March 20th at the Enrique Roca de Murcia stadium in Murcia, Spain. This match will be a crucial step in both teams’ quest to secure a spot in the elite division of the Nations League.
