Mbappé on His Hat-Trick: "The Win Matters More"
Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe shared his thoughts after scoring his first hat-trick for the club in their commanding victory over Real Valladolid in Saturday's La Liga clash.
"I'm happy with the hat-trick, but even more delighted with the victory," Mbappe said. "I say this every week, but today it was crucial to win after Atletico secured their victory earlier."
Mbappe's goal tally for Real Madrid now stands at 22 across all competitions. In the La Liga top scorers' race, he is closing in on Robert Lewandowski, with 15 goals compared to the Pole's 16.
"My focus is on helping Rodrygo and Vinicius score goals. I'm not concerned with becoming the league's top scorer. What I really want is to win with Real Madrid and lift trophies," Mbappe added.
The French superstar's influence at the Bernabéu continues to grow, having been named Man of the Match for the ninth time this season.
