La Liga is gearing up to challenge a decision by the Spanish Sports Council (CSD) that allowed FC Barcelona to temporarily register two of their players, Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor. The league claims the decision violates its regulations and has sparked controversy among other clubs in the top flight.

According to Javier Tebas, president of La Liga, the organization is preparing a lawsuit against Barcelona and has the support of several La Liga clubs who oppose the registrations. Tebas, in an interview with Marca, emphasized that the league is determined to use all available legal avenues to overturn the decision.

"We are against their registration and will use all resources at our disposal through the appropriate channels. It is only logical that we demand the registrations be revoked. The clubs that have raised concerns about the decision regarding Olmo are fully within their rights. If La Liga is filing appeals, it is because we believe the decision does not comply with the law, as required by the procedure," Tebas stated.

The controversy stems from Barcelona's ability to register the two players despite ongoing financial constraints and strict league regulations. The temporary registrations were approved by the CSD, but La Liga argues that this sets a dangerous precedent and undermines the league's financial fair play rules.
