The leader of the German Bundesliga, Bayern Munich, hosted relegation-threatened Holstein Kiel in a dramatic encounter in the 20th round of the season. Despite dominating for most of the match, the Bavarians nearly let their lead slip away in a tense final few minutes.

Bayern Munich was in full control early on, opening the scoring in the 19th minute. Jamal Musiala delivered a precise pass to Joshua Kimmich, who calmly slotted the ball into the corner of the net. Just before halftime, Harry Kane doubled the advantage, finishing a cross from Kingsley Coman to make it 2-0 in stoppage time.

The second half saw Kane complete his brace, scoring with a powerful header from a Raphaël Guerreiro cross, sending the ball into the top corner. Shortly after, Serge Gnabry made it 4-0 with another brilliant shot into the top corner, seemingly sealing an easy win for the hosts.

However, Holstein Kiel had other plans. In the 62nd minute, Fin Bartels pulled one back for the visitors with a stunning strike. Bayern became complacent, allowing Tim Skjibski to score twice in injury time and bring the score to 4-3, making for a nervy finish. Despite the late scare, Bayern Munich held on to secure the three points.
