Four Nations Tournament: Canada and USA Set for Rematch in the Final
The finalists for the Four Nations Tournament in ice hockey have been determined.
This competition was organized by the NHL as a replacement for the All-Star Game, with teams fully comprised of NHL players.
Last night, Team Canada defeated Finland 5-3 and will now face off against Team USA in the decisive match. The Americans finished the group stage with a loss to Sweden, but this game had no bearing on the tournament standings.
Canada and USA have already met once in the Four Nations Tournament. In the group stage, the Americans emerged victorious with a 3-1 win, a game that will be remembered for its dramatic start — three fights within the first nine seconds of play.
The final of the Four Nations Tournament between Canada and USA will take place on February 21st.
