Kemsdin Talbi etched his name in the history books

In an unexpected twist in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16, Club Brugge pulled off a stunning victory, comfortably defeating Atalanta on their home ground. However, it wasn’t just a team performance that stole the spotlight—it was the individual brilliance of a young rising star.

At just 19 years and 285 days old, winger Kemsdin Talbi etched his name in the history books, scoring a brilliant brace in the match. Talbi became the fourth player under the age of 20 to score a double in a Champions League knockout game. He joins an elite group of talents, including Kylian Mbappé, Nicolo Zaniolo, and Erling Haaland, who previously achieved this remarkable feat.

What’s even more impressive is that all of Club Brugge’s goals came before halftime, completely dismantling Atalanta in the process. Talbi opened the scoring in the 3rd minute, setting the tone for the rest of the match and signaling his arrival on the big stage.
