Deportivo Alaves - Espanyol 0:1

Fernando Calero, a 29-year-old central defender for Espanyol, ended his six-year goal drought in La Liga with a dramatic late winner against Deportivo Alavés. The goal, scored in the dying moments of the match, secured a 1-0 victory for the Catalan side and marked their first away win of the season.

Calero, who had not found the back of the net in La Liga since 2018, was brought on in the 67th minute to shore up Espanyol's defense. However, he ended up being the unlikely hero, delivering a decisive strike that left Alavés stunned and Espanyol celebrating a hard-fought three points.
