The Portuguese coach claimed that the opposing coaches

José Mourinho has been handed a four-match suspension following controversial remarks he made after Fenerbahçe's derby against Galatasaray. The Portuguese coach claimed that the opposing coaches "jumped like monkeys" and criticized the Turkish referee, suggesting the match would have been a "disaster" under his officiating. In response, Galatasaray accused Mourinho of racism and threatened legal action.

The Turkish Football Federation has punished Mourinho with a two-match ban for racist remarks and an additional two-match ban for insulting the referee. Football legend Didier Drogba defended Mourinho, stating that the coach is not a racist.

As a result, Fenerbahçe will be without Mourinho for matches on March 2, 16, 30, and April 2.
