A goal and an assist from Ukrainian weren't enough to secure a victory for Girona

A goal and an assist from Viktor Tsyhankov weren't enough to secure a victory for Girona against Celta Vigo in today's La Liga clash. The match ended in a 2-2 draw, leaving Girona frustrated as they continue their search for consistency.

Tsyhankov opened the scoring in the 21st minute, capitalizing on a rebound from a corner kick to slot the ball home from close range. However, Celta equalized before halftime through Fran Beltrán, and then took the lead in the second half with a penalty from Marcos Alonso.

Girona fought back, and Tsyhankov played a key role in the equalizer. In the 68th minute, his corner kick found Yangel Herrera, whose header hit the post and went in, leveling the score at 2-2.
