Bayern Munich Reaches Agreement with Upamecano
According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich has reached a verbal agreement to extend the contract of French defender Dayot Upamecano. Negotiations lasted two weeks and concluded with a handshake, securing the 25-year-old's future at the club.
Upamecano's current contract runs until the summer of 2026, but the new deal will extend his stay in Munich. This season, the center-back has made 30 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals and solidifying his role in Bayern's defense.
In addition, Bayern has also secured the future of Alphonso Davies, with the Canadian full-back extending his contract until 2030.
