World Cup 2026 Qualifiers: Schick Rescues Czech Republic Against Faroe Islands
The Czech Republic narrowly avoided an embarrassing result against the Faroe Islands, securing a 2-1 victory thanks to a late goal from Patrik Schick. The Bayer Leverkusen striker opened the scoring in the 25th minute, but the Faroe Islands managed to equalize late in the game, threatening to pull off a major upset.
