Three Formula 1 drivers, including both Ferrari representatives, were disqualified from the race results

In a shocking turn of events at the Chinese Grand Prix, three Formula 1 drivers, including both Ferrari representatives, were disqualified from the race results. Charles Leclerc, who finished fifth, and Lewis Hamilton, who crossed the line in sixth, were both stripped of their points. Additionally, Pierre Gasly of Alpine, who finished 11th, was also disqualified.

The FIA ruled that the cars of Leclerc and Gasly did not meet the minimum weight requirements after fuel sampling, with both vehicles weighing below the required limit. Hamilton, meanwhile, was disqualified due to skid block breach, a critical technical regulation.

This marks a historic low for Ferrari, as it is the first time in the team's 75-year history in Formula 1 that both of their cars have been disqualified from the same race

Following the disqualifications, the updated top-10 results for the Chinese Grand Prix are as follows:

1. Oscar Piastri (McLaren)
2. Lando Norris (McLaren)
3. George Russell (Mercedes)
4. Max Verstappen (Red Bull)
5. Esteban Ocon (Haas)
6. Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes)
7. Alexander Albon (Williams)
8. Oliver Bearman (Haas)
9. Lance Stroll (Aston Martin)
10. Carlos Sainz (Williams)
