Portugal - Denmark 5:2

Denmark put up a fierce fight against Portugal in the second leg of their UEFA Nations League quarterfinal, even managing to equalize twice. However, Brian Riemer's men were eventually forced to surrender. After their 1-0 win at home, the Danish team only needed to lose by a single goal to at least force a penalty shootout, but that wasn’t to be.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored a vital goal in the second half, led Portugal to victory. In extra time, Francisco Trincão of Sporting CP grabbed a brace, and Gonçalo Ramos of Paris Saint-Germain sealed the win with a final strike. Portugal will now advance to the semifinals of the UEFA Nations League.
