Maksym Taloverov has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after sustaining a knee injury while on international duty with Ukraine.

The Plymouth defender had made an impressive breakthrough following his winter move to the Championship side, quickly emerging as a key figure in the squad. His form reportedly caught the attention of Pep Guardiola and positioned him as a future leader in Ukraine’s defensive setup.

However, the knee issue prevented him from featuring in the recent matches against Belgium, and subsequent medical examinations back in England confirmed the seriousness of the injury.

Plymouth manager Miron Muslic officially confirmed that Taloverov will not return to action this season.
