Andriy Lunin

Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin could be back between the posts this weekend as Thibaut Courtois continues to deal with muscle fatigue sustained during international duty with Belgium.

Courtois missed the second match of the international break against Ukraine and has yet to fully recover. As a result, Real Madrid's coaching staff are expected to give the Belgian more time to rest and recover, potentially paving the way for Lunin to start in the upcoming La Liga clash against Leganés in Matchday 29.

La Liga: Fixtures, Results & Standings

Courtois has made 36 appearances for Los Blancos across all competitions this season. Lunin, meanwhile, has featured in 10 games, primarily taking charge of goalkeeping duties in the Copa del Rey. Whenever Courtois is sidelined, Lunin has proven to be a dependable stand-in.
