Girona - Deportivo Alaves 0:1

In the 30th round of the Spanish La Liga, Girona, with Viktor Tsyhankov, hosted Alavés at home.

The Ukrainian winger Tsyhankov came on in the 68th minute, replacing Donny van de Beek. By that point, Girona was already trailing 1-0 after Vincente's goal. Despite his best efforts, Tsyhankov couldn’t help Girona turn the tide, and the match ended in a narrow defeat.

Another Ukrainian, goalkeeper Vladyslav Krapivtsov, was also in the squad for the Catalan club, but the coaching staff opted for the experience of Paulo Gazzaniga between the posts.

Girona, currently in 13th place in the La Liga standings, extended their winless streak to eight matches.
