Burnley Thrash QPR to Pull Away from Leeds in Championship Title Race
Burnley have taken a major stride toward securing the Championship title after a dominant 5-0 away win over Queens Park Rangers in Matchweek 45.
The visitors got off to a flying start at Loftus Road, with Josh Cullen opening the scoring in the 9th minute. The rout continued as both Kristian Fløtmann and Jeremy Sarmiento bagged braces to seal a commanding victory for the Clarets.
This emphatic result puts Burnley three points clear at the top of the table, ahead of closest rivals Leeds United, who still have a game in hand at home against Bristol City.
