Lamine Yamal

Lamine Yamal has made history in the UEFA Champions League, becoming the youngest player ever to score in a semi-final of the competition.

The FC Barcelona forward found the net at the age of just 17 years and 291 days, eclipsing the previous record held by Kylian Mbappé, who scored in a semi-final for AS Monaco in 2017 at the age of 18 years and 140 days.

A New Star on the Rise

Graduating from La Masia, Yamal has continued to amaze fans across Europe with his maturity, confidence, and clinical ability in high-stakes matches. The teenage sensation has shown composure beyond his years, quickly establishing himself as one of the brightest young stars in world football.

Remarkably, the historic goal came on the night of his 100th appearance for Barcelona, underlining a meteoric rise for a player who is fast becoming the face of the club’s new generation.
