Inter Milan full-back Federico Dimarco expressed his emotions after his team’s dramatic extra-time triumph over FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League semi-final at the iconic San Siro.

"I honestly have no words to describe what happened tonight. We went up and then down, and we recovered an incredible game. It was a great night," Dimarco told UEFA’s official website.

"We were always a team throughout the whole game, always staying on top of things in the many moments of the match – even the most difficult ones. There is nothing like the San Siro."

Dimarco also praised head coach Simone Inzaghi for his leadership during high-pressure moments. "Inzaghi is our leader. He shows us the way and he always does it well. Even in difficult moments, he breaks things up with a few jokes – this is his strength."
