Indiana Pacers are the first team to punch their ticket to the NBA Playoff semifinals after closing out their first-round series against the Cleveland Cavaliers with a commanding 114-105 win on the road.

The Game 5 victory in Cleveland sealed a 4-1 series win for the Pacers, ending the postseason hopes of a Cavaliers team that had looked strong throughout the regular season but faltered under playoff pressure.

Haliburton Leads the Charge

Tyrese Haliburton was the catalyst for Indiana, delivering a stellar all-around performance with 31 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds. The Pacers guard dictated the tempo and made clutch plays when it mattered most.

Aaron Nesmith also stepped up, notching a key double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds, providing energy and balance on both ends of the floor.

Mitchell’s Effort Not Enough

Despite the loss, Donovan Mitchell fought valiantly for Cleveland, pouring in a game-high 35 points along with 9 rebounds. But his solo effort wasn’t enough to prevent the Cavaliers from bowing out early.

Who’s Next for the Pacers?

Indiana now awaits the winner of the series between the New York Knicks and Boston Celtics. The Knicks currently lead that series 3-1 and are one win away from setting up a clash with the Pacers in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
