Barca has reached a verbal agreement with Brazilian winger

FC Barcelona have reached a verbal agreement with Brazilian winger Raphinha to extend his contract until the summer of 2028, according to renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.

The current deal, originally set to expire in June 2027, will be extended by one more year as part of the club's long-term project. Romano reports that the new contract will be signed once head coach Hansi Flick officially inks his own agreement—expected to happen on May 21.

Raphinha, 27, has enjoyed a sensational campaign in La Liga and across all competitions. In the 2024/25 season, he registered an impressive tally of 34 goals and 25 assists in just 56 appearances for the Catalan giants—cementing his role as one of the club’s most crucial attacking threats.
