Lautaro Martínez has a dream

Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martínez has spoken openly about his excitement and anticipation ahead of the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain, set for Saturday, 31 May, in Munich.

PSG are a strong, compact team who attack and defend very well,” Martínez told UEFA.com. “We’ll need to be careful against them. Some of their midfielders are key — destructive players. I know several of them because they used to play in Italy, so we need to study both their strengths and their weaknesses, which we can exploit to make this a great match and final.”

Chasing Another Unforgettable Moment

Martínez, who lifted the Champions League trophy with Inter in Istanbul and won the World Cup with Argentina in Qatar, reflected on the unique emotions that come with football’s grandest finals.

“Winning the Champions League is an incredible feeling. I’ve experienced it at the World Cup final in Qatar. These are unique moments that stay with you forever,” he said. “To experience another final on this scale will be incredible.”

“A Dream Within Reach”

For Martínez, the chance to deliver another Champions League title to Inter — a trophy long absent from the club’s cabinet — is deeply personal.

“It’s a dream that’s once again within our reach,” he admitted. “I don’t even want to think too far ahead about whether we’ll achieve it, this dream we all share, and which has been missing from Inter for so long. I just want to enjoy the moment, this final, this game. And if it all comes true — it will be a dream made real.”
