PSG made the treble

Paris Saint-Germain have made history by completing their first-ever treble, becoming just the ninth club in European football history to win their domestic league, national cup, and the UEFA Champions League in the same season.

Dominance at Home and Abroad

Under manager Luis Enrique, PSG stormed to the Ligue 1 title, securing the championship as early as April 5. They then added the Coupe de France in May, comfortably defeating Reims 3–0 in the final.

The crowning jewel came on Saturday night, when PSG demolished Inter Milan 5–0 in the Champions League final — a record-breaking result that not only secured their first European title but also sealed their place among the continent’s most elite treble winners.

Joining Football’s Most Exclusive Club

PSG now join a rarefied group of clubs to have completed the treble, alongside the likes of Manchester United (1999), Barcelona (2009, 2015), Inter Milan (2010), Bayern Munich (2013, 2020), and a select few others.

For PSG, long criticized for falling short in Europe despite domestic dominance, this treble marks a defining moment — a season that delivered on the promise of their massive investment and star-studded squad.
