Wolverhampton - Manchester City 0:4

Manchester City wasted no time laying down a marker for the new Premier League season, cruising to a 4–0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.

For the opening half-hour, Wolves held their own and even found the net—only to see the goal ruled out for offside. But once Pep Guardiola’s side found their rhythm, there was no stopping them. On 34 minutes, star striker Erling Haaland broke the deadlock with a typically clinical finish. Just three minutes later, new signing Tijjani Reijnders marked his debut with a well-taken goal to double City’s lead.

After the interval, Haaland struck again to complete his brace, reminding everyone why he’s still the league’s most lethal forward. The rout was sealed late on by another debutant, Rayan Cherki, who added a fourth with a composed finish to cap off a dominant display.
