Liverpool Part Ways with Arne Slot

Liverpool have parted company with head coach Arne Slot, bringing an end to the Dutch manager's two-year spell at Anfield. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, both parties reached a mutual agreement to terminate the contract following a disappointing 2025/26 season.
Slot enjoyed a dream first campaign on Merseyside, guiding Liverpool to the Premier League title in 2024/25 and earning widespread praise for his attacking style of football. However, the Reds were unable to maintain those standards in the following season, finishing only fifth in the league and missing out on their primary objectives.
Current AFC Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola has emerged as the leading candidate to take over at Liverpool. The Spaniard has impressed in the Premier League with his progressive approach and is considered a strong fit for the club's long-term vision.
