Official: James McAtee Joins Nottingham Forest from Manchester City
Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of James McAtee from Manchester City, the club confirmed on their official website. The 22-year-old midfielder has signed a long-term contract that will keep him at the City Ground until the summer of 2030.
The deal is reportedly worth £22 million, with an additional £8 million in performance-related bonuses. As part of the agreement, Manchester City have secured a buy-back clause, giving them the option to re-sign McAtee in the future.
McAtee, a product of City’s esteemed youth academy, made 34 senior appearances for the reigning Premier League champions, scoring 7 goals across all competitions.
