According to multiple sources, the altercation escalated into a physical confrontation

Olympique de Marseille have officially placed Adrien Rabiot and Jonathan Rowe on the transfer list following a reported altercation between the two players in the dressing room after their recent match against Stade Rennais.

In a strongly worded statement released on Monday, the French club confirmed the disciplinary decision:

“Adrien Rabiot and Jonathan Rowe have been transfer-listed by the club following unacceptable behaviour in the dressing room after the match against Stade Rennais. This decision has been made in agreement with the coaching staff and in accordance with the club’s internal code of conduct.”

According to multiple sources, the altercation escalated into a physical confrontation, prompting swift action from management. The incident is said to have taken place minutes after the final whistle, as tensions boiled over in a heated post-match atmosphere.

The move reflects the disciplinary stance of head coach Roberto De Zerbi. Known for his emphasis on unity and discipline, De Zerbi has been vocal about maintaining a strong and healthy team culture - and this latest decision sends a clear message.
