Werder - Bayer 04 3:3 (1:2)

Werder Bremen pulled off a remarkable comeback in their Bundesliga clash against Bayer Leverkusen at home, salvaging a 3-3 draw after trailing 3-1, despite being down to ten men.

The match saw Patrick Schick and Jamal Tillman score for the visitors in the first half, while Werder Bremen managed to pull one back through Marvin Schmidt just before the break. In the second half, Werder's situation worsened when Niklas Stark was sent off, and Schick converted a penalty to give Leverkusen a 3-1 lead.

However, the hosts refused to give up and made a dramatic comeback. On the 76th minute, Schmidt capitalized on a glaring error by the Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper to equalize. Then, with the game nearing its end, Karim Koulibaly sealed the stunning draw for Werder with a close-range strike just before the final whistle, making it 3-3.
