Aston Villa - Crystal Palace 0:3

Crystal Palace secured their first win of the 2025/26 Premier League season in emphatic style, thrashing Aston Villa 3–0 at Villa Park and ending the hosts' 19-match unbeaten home run.

Jean-Philippe Mateta opened the scoring from the penalty spot after Villa goalkeeper Marco Bizot brought down Daichi Kamada in the box. The Frenchman made no mistake, calmly converting to give the Eagles a deserved lead.

Marc Guéhi doubled the advantage in the 68th minute with a superb long-range strike into the far corner. Ismaïla Sarr capped off the rout in the closing stages, finishing a slick counterattack to make it 3–0 and seal a famous away win for Oliver Glasner’s side.
