AS Roma - Torino 0:1

AS Roma fell to a surprising 1-0 home defeat against Torino on Matchday 3 — their first loss at the Stadio Olimpico in almost a year.

The capital club had remained unbeaten at home throughout 2025 until today, with their last defeat on Roman soil dating back to December 2024. That impressive streak came to an end thanks to a disciplined performance by Torino, capped off by a clinical second-half goal from Giovanni Simeone in the 59th minute.

Interestingly, Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk did not feature at all — neither in the starting lineup nor off the bench. Manager Gian Piero Gasperini opted for an experimental setup, deploying Matías Soulé and Paulo Dybala in a fluid front line without a traditional No. 9.
