Massimiliano Allegri and AC Milan Leadership Sacked After Disastrous Season

AC Milan have officially announced the dismissal of head coach Massimiliano Allegri, along with several key members of the club’s leadership team, following a deeply disappointing campaign.
The Rossoneri finished only fifth in Serie A, missing out on qualification for the UEFA Champions League after a dramatic collapse during the closing stages of the season. The failure has triggered what the club describes as a major internal restructuring.
In an official statement, Milan confirmed the departures of chief executive Giorgio Furlani, sporting director Igli Tare, head coach Massimiliano Allegri and technical director Geoffrey Moncada.
“Effective immediately, our collaboration with CEO Giorgio Furlani, sporting director Igli Tare, head coach Massimiliano Allegri and technical director Geoffrey Moncada has come to an end. We thank them for their work and dedication during their time at the club,” the statement read.
Despite the sweeping changes, club advisor and former Milan icon Zlatan Ibrahimovic will remain in his current role as the ownership group continues to reshape the sporting project.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that Geoffrey Moncada could continue his career with Nice, as the fallout from Milan’s failed season continues.
